Lärarlönelyftet: what changed, and for whom
Running from 2016 to 2021, the Lärarlönelyftet paid municipalities to raise salaries for teachers judged to be performing well. Those selected received an extra SEK 2,500 to SEK 3,500 a month, allocated by head teachers at each school. Since not everyone received it, staffrooms grew tense in a good many schools.
